My Birthday Suit

Wearing: Dress- Free People; Hat- Top Shop; Shoes- Forever 21

I've had to postpone this post for a little while because of how busy I've been getting ready to move into college, but finally I can share my lovely birthday dress that Nick got me along with a feather Alex and Ani bracelet. On Friday the 23rd I had an amazing birthday dinner with family and close friends and I want to again thank everyone for all the birthday wishes! Lately, I have been getting a lot of requests about what you girls should wear your 1st day back to school and I think a cute dress with a pair of booties would make a great first impression for what ever year your going into. It's very easy to recreate this outfit, Forever 21 and even online stores like TOBI offer stylish dresses for a great price. Be creative and step outside of the box this year! Outfits like this are fun to accessorize with bracelets and necklaces if your unable to wear a hat to school.I'll try my best to post some more outfit inspirations this weekend and next week and feel free to tweet me any questions you have or even your first day of school outfit at @deleasakathleen!

Born And Raised// John Mayer Concert

Wearing: Top- Free People; Skirt- TOBI

Wednesday night I went to see John Mayer for the second time with some friends and as always he was incredible, and doesn't need much explanation. It was a pretty muggy night, so I matched my new fringe bralette with my favorite double slit skirt from TOBI. The skirt can be worn a couple different ways and is a great piece to wear to any concert and even for back to school. I hope you guys had a great week and enjoying your last couple days of summer!

If you guys want to be apart of something great and in return get something for it sign up at and see how you can be apart of a movement and win free tickets to see John Mayer, Kings of Leon, Alicia Keys, and Stevie Wonder in central park. Tweet me at @deleasakathleen and share with me the steps you took!

Sun Set At The Light House

Wearing: Top- Jenna&Molly Boutique; Shorts&Hat-Urban Outfitters; Cardigan- Brandy Melville; Glasses- Thrifted

On our last night in LBI, Nick and I went to the light house to watch the sun set. I wore my Jenna&Molly tank top that ties around the neck with a lace crochet detail at the bottom. The sunglasses I am wearing I bought that day at one of the many consignment shops in LBI. I'm obsessed with them because I've been looking for that frame in stores for a while now!

Wearing: Top&Pants- Free People; Hat&Shoes- Free People

I've been in LBI this past week, so I apologize for not posting in a while! Ironically I noticed my whole outfit is from Free People. Which may or may not be a coincidence considering I work for the company but my main focus for this post are the printed harem pants. I've been really big on harem pants lately because of how breezy they are. They are light enough to wear in the summer but can also be transitioned into your fall wardrobe. I didn't want to take away from the great print of the pant so I matched it with a plain bralette and my suede floppy hat.

Those Little Crochet Details

Wearing: Top- Urban Outfitters; Bottoms- Brandy Melville

 Photographer: Anna Szczekutowicz

I am obsessed with these floral Brandy Melville palazzo pants, they come in all different patterns and I've had to stop myself from getting all of them! Monday I had the chance to hang out with some great friends I haven't seen for a couple of months, and the weather made it perfect to pair these pants with one of Urbans crochet crops that has such pretty detail to it!
